Our Passion

 Venisonman was born out of a fascination for wild food, a love of the countryside and a passion for deer and their conservation.

Wild food, especially meat, is a natural resource that lives and flourishes in our beautiful countryside. Unfortunately this natural resource is severly under used and instead we opt for supermarket meats that we invariably, more often than not, have no idea as to how they were produced or where they actually come from.

Why Wild?

Here at Venisonman we have an alternative way of thinking. All our meats come from the wild, where their free-range life style makes for a better tasting product that is naturally low in fat.

Sitting very high in the food chain, we have the power to ensure the meat that we eat comes from a high welfare source and is killed humanely. All our meats come from creatures that roamed wild in fields and led a life that was a lot more natural than most of the meat you will find on sale today.


What Do You Do With It?

Wild meat tends to scare people when it comes to cooking it, so here we try to make the process as easy and enjoyable as possible. We can offer advise on which cut to choose and how much to order, as well as cooking instructions and recipe cards.
